Best Buy Drops is Best Buy’s in-app feature that gets you access to popular products for low prices—but only for a limited time or until the supply runs out. Today, Best Buy Drop has the Scuf Instinct Pro available for $179.99 (originally $239.99), the lowest price it’s been over the last four months (according to price-checking tools). For reference, the performance controller's previous lowest price was $199.99 during Black Friday. (Note: You'll need the app to see the correct price; otherwise, the above Best Buy link will redirect you to the website, where the price is still $239.99.)

You need the Best Buy app to get this deal

Starting at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, March 5, the Scuf Instinct Pro is available to all shoppers who have the Best Buy app. As I explained in this article, you will need to create an account and navigate to the “Drops” tab to see the Scuf Instinct Pro. Once you see it, click the "add to cart" button, which puts you in the queue to give you the chance to buy the controller. Depending on how popular the product is, waiting in line can take minutes to hours. The Scuf Instinct Pro is a very niche controller, even in the gaming community, so it shouldn't take long. It might even last until the evening or not sell out completely.

The Scuf Instinct Pro came out in August 2021 with glowing reviews for its features like rear paddles that feel natural to use, an enhanced grip on key areas, and an interchangeable thumbstick for a better customizable fit. Like most performance controllers, it also has instant triggers for faster response time. The Scuf Instinct Pro is among IGN's picks for best Xbox controllers as the best competitive controller. You'll need AA batteries when using it wirelessly.
